I am used to working in collaboration with other independent engineers, such as Guillaume Verdier, Benjamin Muyl and Romaric Nehoussier. We have worked together for many years now and follow the same methods, we are a real team. Among this team, I am often the project manager, the one who unites design and manufacturing of parts.
Whether I work among a Design Team or as an external expert, I am used to collaborating closely with teams who own the boats I design. My expertise is situated at the crossroads between the design team and the builders. As a specialist, I have an eye for detail and make sure the plans delivered and parts made conform.
Although I have had the opportunity of taking part in projects of great shipyards, my link with the building team is often less close than with the Design Team. Most of the time, it is the technical team of the future owner’s team who relates directly with the shipyard. As a result, although I keep an expert eye on building, mine is mostly a follow-up role.
